The due date finally arrived and assuming that this could very well be our final night alone we decided to celebrate it in Port Douglas at the Nautilus restaurant. We had heard that it was the grand daddy of all fine dining and that we had to experience it at least once in our lifetime. The restaurant does not cater for children under eight, in order to "preserve the experience of elegant outdoor dining with a unique ambiance," and we figured it was either now or never.

Did you bring the pillows from home or did they provide them at the restaurant? Now I know where I am taking Tim for his B-day in March (sans kids of course).
Oh no, the pillows are provided. Spare no expense at the Nautilus...and I mean NO expense! Totally broke the budget on this dinner!
